M.Sc. studies

Automatic Control and Robotics

Graduates are prepared to solve complex interdisciplinary automatic control and robotics problems. They are prepared to participate in the work and to lead teams in industrial and design units as well as to work in science and research. Graduates are taught the habits of continuing education and professional development. The knowledge and skills gained during the studies allow graduates to solve new, complex project tasks on their own. They are also prepared to undertake research work and continue their education at the third level (doctoral studies) and post-graduate studies.

Computer Science

The aim of the studies is to educate high-class specialists prepared to design, create and evaluate intelligent systems, which are based on methods and techniques of artificial intelligence, multimedia and decision-making systems. Completing our course gives a good theoretical preparation, especially in the field of analysis of large data sets, modelling and optimization, as well as practical skills that allow to participate in research and development work carried out in business or academic environment. Our graduates are familiar with and free to move around in different programming paradigms, they are able to use different computer system architectures and procedures and tools supporting the processes of system development and testing. Additionally, they are able to gain added value in designed and implemented systems thanks to their skills in advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, cloud computing, understanding of human-IT communication processes. The studies increase awareness of business problems related to the use of IT systems, realising the importance of non-technical aspects of their applications.
